What's New with us.

Staff Training

The learning continues with our staff.  Three of our staff are currently training in FETAC Level 6 in Childcare.  This course is very intensive and we can see already the improvements that this course has brought to the creche, with new ideas, new lesson planning and curriculum changes.  We are constantly striving to improve our service and introduce new ideas throughout.

Fun Fridays

We are continuing our fun Fridays during the good weather we are having at the moment.  This Friday we will have our 'beach day' where all of the children will bring their beach toys.  We will have a picnic outside and enjoy some beach games and sand play.  Fun days also include jersey days, sports day, arts and craft day, movie day and much much more.  Stay tuned for further activities.

Theme of the Month

Our learning theme for this month is 'Under the Sea'.  All of our children will learn about animals that live under the sea.  What are their eating habits, sleeping habits, and what do they do all day?  There will be lots of stories around this theme and some artwork to take home each week showing what we have learned.

Opening Hours

We have decided to extend our opening hours from 7.30am to 6.15pm in order to make things a little easier for our parents.  Please contact us for details.

Out of School / After School / Breakfast Club

We are now offering a breakfast club to our school going children.  Drop your children to us and we will take them to school for you after they have had breakfast.  We will then pick them up from school and bring them back to the creche, where they will receive a nutritious meal and snack, and will get some help with homework, before joining in our After School Club.

 If your child becomes unwell at Kilkenny Crèche & Montessori School we will take your
      child to the doctor or hospital as required.

 We will administer medicines with your written permission.
